Rules of Engagement

Twission is a free service that tags each result from Twitter Search with a number representing the degrees of seperation between you and the author of that tweet on Twitter. Using the service for any illegal purpose whasoever is also not allowed. Any breach of these rules may result in an automatic ban. We reserve the right to ban users for any reason whatsoever.

Fair Use Policy

Twission is a whitelisted Twitter App. This means that up to 20,000 api calls may be made per hour. Since Twission is an API intensive application this limit may be reached from time to time. We reserve the right to ban users who abuse this limit or hog its usage. We think it's reasonable for users to use Twission to track one keyword at a time. Tracking more then one keyword at a time is forbidden.

Privacy Policy

The Twission service stores your Twitter Username in order to find the degree of separation between you and the author of the tracked tweets. This information is securely hosted on a dedicated server. Only members of the Twission support team have access to it. We have taken every possible measure to make sure that your Twitter username is kept completely safe.

As part of the service provided we collect usage statistics on stored keywords and other important information including user activity. We will not publish or reveal in anyway any personally identifiable information, including your Twitter username.

We reserve the right to aggregate annonymous usage statistics and to publish that information on our site or anywhere else we deem suitable.

Cookies

Twission uses a single cookie so that information about which keyword a user is tracking can be remembered between each separate page refresh.

Proprietary Rights

All content on Twission including designs, text, graphics, pictures, video, information, applications, software, music, sound and other files, and their selection and arrangement are the proprietary property of Twission, or its licensors with all rights reserved. Twitter avatars remains the property of their respective owners.

No site content may be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, scraped, displayed, posted, transmitted, or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without the company's prior written permission.
